Full Carved SuperPro

Designer's note:

"The NAMM show always presents a challenge; how do you represent a line that is as boundless as Hamer? This season, we've showcased some of our most popular options in a hand full of guitars/customshop guitars of which this SuperPro is one."

The most obvious, yet tasteful difference in this guitar was the decision to carve both the front and the back. Gary followed the contours with the 'burst to really emphasize the contours.

Here's another view of the back carve. Its so sensual from every angle I just had to show a couple more views.

The top has just the kind of flame I like, fat and varied. Every millimeter of this guitar has something going on. Check out how the color of the 'burst plays with the highlights of the Brazilian fingerboard.
Four-ply Italian ivoroid is painstakingly inlaid around the top, fingerboard and headstock of the guitar. Check out the way genuine pearl catches the light, that's why we use it—even in the side-marker dots.

The addition of bound f-holes on the SuperPro makes it a real hybrid model. The ivoroid binding is formed from two separate pieces on each f-hole—each joined flawlessly by hand. Can you find the joints? We love the way the woodburned logo peeks out from inside.
One last view of the gorgeous contours. It's so easy to get caught up in the beauty of this instrument that we sometimes forget how awesome they sound and play! We were sorry to see this one go.
