Limited to 25 pieces worldwide, Hamer USA’s new Talladega EM (TAL-EMN) features a rare, hand-carved “Earthen Maple” top with matching peg head face. The rare maple, found submerged in a mud bog, offers a unique and distinctive look to each instrument. No two guitars are alike.
Beneath the top, you’ll find a one-piece, chambered Honduras mahogany body that produces a clear-cut resonance along with prominent upper midrange tones. The longer 25 ½” scale length provides easy access to the Talladega’s upper register. The mahogany neck is capped with a straight-grained Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and adorned with MOP dot inlays and a single “Victory” inlay on the 12th fret.
The Talladega EM is powered by two custom wound single coil “Double D” pickups, created especially for this guitar by Jol Dantzig and Seymour Duncan. It also features a 4-way blade switch giving you individual, parallel, and series sound capabilities. For further sustain, the Talladega EM sports a Hamer original “sustain block” bridge featuring string thru the body design.
The Talladega “Earthen Maple” is available in Earthen Maple burst finish. Includes GC4-0 hardshell case. Retail: $5200
