Vector
Black Beauty - built for Russo Guitars
Designer's
note:
"As
much as we like creating new styles with vintage appeal, we haven't
forgotten our roots. So
when Brian at Russo Music brought up this idea we couldn't resist."

| With the matching pick-guard
trim and gold hardware this vector has a serious and
formal look that cuts a striking image. |
|
| Continuing
the cellulose binding around the entire neck and headstock
ties the whole concept together. We chose black ebony
for the fingerboard inlaid with ten blocks of genuine
pearl to complete the "tuxedo" look of this unique
series of guitars. |

| As
modern today as the day it was conceived, a
classic rock statement done up in the kind of
attention to detail that only the guys in our
shop can deliver. This one surely lives in the
details. The deep gloss and richness comes from
an old-school cellulose based finish that we
lovingly apply and hand-block in-between coats.
The Vector has a lot of straight, flat surfaces
so you've got to take your time. Each one of
these guitars spends over two weeks being painted
and polished. |
